Never Say Never

When the Government has become careless then the result of such non-seriousness produces a chance of foreign involvement like in shape of Abbottabad Operation (Operation Neptune Spear) has been seen in past in which the United States took unilateral actions in May, 2011, to target and kill the world’s most wanted terrorist, Osama Bin Laden (OBL), who had been hiding in Abbottabad (Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan). And U.S. officials did not share information regarding the raid with Pakistan until it was over.

Now you may thinking that why I am seeing Government of Pakistan’s new counter terrorism’s policy “National Action Plan” into INTERNATIONAL ACTION PLAN. For that you have to read my complete article with full concentration.

Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan of PML-N (Pakistan Muslim League — Nawaz), who is the current Federal Interior Minister of Government of Pakistan said on the floor at National Assembly of Pakistan on Friday (18th December, 2015) that, former ‘Lal Masjid’ (Red Mosque)’s head cleric Maulana Abdul Aziz could not be arrested because there is no case lodged against him.

Actually Chaudhry Nisar has misguided the National Assembly of Pakistan.

I have posted some evidences here in this regard (including four points), which are:

1)

Electronic copies of two separate (pending) *FIRs in Urdu language, from Civil Society’s Representatives which are registered against Lal Masjid (Laal Masjid)’s cleric Maulana Abdul Aziz separately in Islamabad (on 19th December, 2014) and Karachi (on 20th December, 2014).

*(FIR means “First Information Report”, is a written document prepared by police in Pakistan when they receive information regarding cognizable offence. It is generally a complaint lodged with the police by the victim of a cognizable offense or by someone on her/ his behalf, but anyone can make such report either orally or in writing to the police.)

2)

Electronic copy of a letter which was sent to IG (Inspector General) of Islamabad Police (Pakistan) by Shaan Taseer (Activist) on 12th January, 2015 regarding poor investigation (on FIR No. 569/14 against Maulana Abdul Aziz) and a request to change the IO (Investigation Officer).

The letter was also CC’ed to Chaudhry Nisar on 12th January, 2015.

3)

An electronic copy of a report (only first page) by the Islamabad Police, sent to the Interior Ministry on January-2015, suggests the words spoken by the madrasa students’ attempt to wage war against the state, etc.

Additionally, along with the electronic copy of “Interpretation of *PPC sections”.

*(PPC means “Pakistan Penal Code”, is a penal code for all offences charged in Pakistan.)

4)

Moreover, the Director General of Pakistan Armed Forces’ media wing ISPR (Inter-Services Public Relations), Lieutenant General, Asim Saleem Bajwa has also issued his official statement earlier this year (January-2015), which was about sharing the information regarding the issuance of arrest warrant of Maulana Abdul Aziz.

You can also view the DG ISPR’s news in this regard by watching the video (in Urdu language), which is given below:

Furthermore, such news has already been published in media (during the month of January-2015) that an Intelligence Agency has forwarded its report to the Interior Ministry in which they reported that the resurgence of Lal Masjid’s cleric Maulana Abdul Aziz {as well as Lal Masjid’s administration (Islamabad)} can create a serious security threat to the law and order situation in Islamabad (& Rawalpindi as well) because of their links with known militant groups (and their anti-government rhetoric, etc). Currently, they are also reorganizing the Ghazi Force (militant group) spawned by their own followers after the operation against Lal Masjid in 2007.

Moreover, a non-bailable arrest warrant for Lal Masjid’s cleric Maulana Abdul Aziz was already issued by Senior Civil Judge, Saqib Jawad against FIR No. 569/14 under PPC 506(ii), which is registered at Aabpara Police Station, Islamabad against Abdul Aziz (and this case was filled by Civil Society’s Representatives in the court).

But I could not post its order copy here because even after trying so hard to getting this copy, relevant people still not cooperating in this regard.

After all, the available posted documents here and some other mentioned stuff are quite enough to prove that Chaudhry Nisar said intentionally an absolute lie.

And one more thing to remind that this is the same Red Mosque (Lal Masjid) which has been a notorious hub of pro-Taliban sympathy, then after Lal Masjid’s administration {including their religious Madrasa (College) for women titled Jamia Hafsa (which is adjacent to the Lal Masjid Complex)} announced the establishment of their officially parallel judicial system according to their religious viewpoint (and threatened to unleash a wave of suicide bombers if the Government took any action to counter them); in response, Pakistan Army mounted an operation against them during President (Dictator), General Pervez Musharraf (Chief of Army Staff)’s era in 2007.

Moreover, after the death of Osama Bin Laden, Maulana Abdul Aziz had renamed a library of his Mosque’s seminary (Jamia Hafsa) in the name of “Osama Bin Laden (OBL)”. {who (OBL) was the founder of Al-Qaida (Al-Qæda/ Al-Qa’ida), the global terrorist organization that claimed responsibility for the September 11 (9/11) attacks on the United States of America (USA), along with several other mass-casualty attacks against civilian and military.} He (Maulana) further added a word “Martyr” along with his (OBL) name too. (According to the religious scriptures, the word “Martyr” is entitled to those who gave sacrifice for the right cause and a Martyr person is considered to get highest ranks in heaven.)

Other than this Taliban (TTP) had also nominated Maulana Abdul Aziz, a representative of their negotiating committee.

You must also watch the following mixture of different videos (but it is in Urdu language however some part also includes English subtitle) which elaborates many things clearly that why Maulana Abdul Aziz’s arrest should be Government’s top priority and why he is a threat to the state of Pakistan {along with a clip of video-message by Jamia Hafsa’s students, in which they invited Islamic State (IS / ISIS / Daesh / Da’ish / ISIL)’s Chief, Abu Bakar al-Baghdadi to ‘Avenge’ the 2007-military-raid on Lal Masjid (while Maulana Abdul Aziz neither denied nor condemned this video-message till now) and some other related stuff as well}.

While there are several peaceful protests by Civil Society as reminding the Government to arrest Maulana Abdul Aziz have been held regularly inside and outside of Pakistan since last December (2014) till now; the whole media had also given the prominent coverage of these protests.

Moreover, thousands of common people and celebrities across the globe have also shared/ uploaded their video & pictorial statements by nominating themselves on the social media, demanding the arrest of Maulana Abdul Aziz. This campaign was actively started by an Activist, Jibran Nasir (who is actually the key person regarding this matter).

In the presence of all these evidences, why are you (Interior Minister) taking NAP (a little sleep) instead of implementing NAP (National Action Plan) against Maulana Abdul Aziz.

Instead of suspending cellular/ internet services in federal capital and arresting the peaceful protestors of Civil Society (Who were just standing unarmed for protest outside of Lal Masjid), Government should take legal action against Lal Masjid’s clerk for pledging allegiance to Islamic State (ISIS), violating the laws on hate speech (through physically or/ and telephonic sermon in the Lal Masjid), challenging the writ of the state and keep threatening the state by suicide attacks with his network in case (if) he is captured, etc (are all his actions not violating elements of the National Action Plan?).

And I want to know that why you (Interior Minister) are protecting him by giving such false statement? Putting arrest case aside, you even didn’t fully succeed to ban him from entering the Mosque (forever); which is a Government’s entity (property) and is running via money of tax payers of Pakistani-people. You should at least just stop Mulana Aziz’s media publicity by using your full resources at all levels but you ignored.

Yes you are accountable and every citizen of Pakistan has a right to ask you because you are democratically an elected minister.

You are the Interior Minister of whole Pakistan not solely for Lal Masjid’s cleric. Your prime responsibility is to protect all the citizens of Pakistan instead of a terrorist, Maulana Abdul Aziz. Your false statement really disappointed all those who are striving selflessly for peace and justice in Pakistan.

In a democratic country like Pakistan, we, the people are the central source of power over everything because we elected Government through our votes; so that they can eliminate the terrorism and all other issues from Pakistan for us and our future generations.

So, now we demand to our Government (and especially to Interior Minister) that arrest such terrorists like Maulana Abdul Aziz because they are spreading hate, terror and openly supporting global terrorist’s groups like Tehreek-e-Taliban, Islamic State (ISIS), etc.

Otherwise “National Action Plan” will turn into ‘National InAction Plan’ by avoiding the issues instead of dealing with them. It’s the right time to recover the lost peace and create a Terror-Free Pakistan.

This is not just a personal issue of Jibran Nasir (Activist); this issue is related to all of us.

Mohammad Jibran Nasir (Activist & Lawyer), Karachi, Pakistan

It’s really necessary to speak on these genuine issues (with complete truth); by ignoring these issues we are putting Pakistan’s future into danger.

Yes I also know that generally, some specific segments of society always oppose those self-motivated well-wishers {who identify such serious issues (so that they could be resolved) in Pakistan}, by raising their voices against them instead of raising voice on these critical issues. These specific people start character assassination of those well-wishers by accusing them as Traitor, Agent, Unpatriotic, etc. But doing so is useless for those specific lobbies because facts will always remain same.

According to me, having strong opinion on such sensitive issues and highlighting them is not against Pakistan’s National Interests but it’s in the favour of ACTUAL NATIONAL INTERESTS because Pakistan will become more strengthened by doing this.
