I appreciate that, and I’m sure they are not trying to misrepresent my views. This sentence really does function as a thesis. However, for completion, nad because I expect to be misunderstood, I would appreciate it if they also highlight the sentence “This isn’t an effect of being what identity politics IS.” I feel like that’s half of the thought, and a very important half.
