Again, this is a human problem. That the only way to provide for people’s needs is through a need of their labor, due to a lack of technology, only reflects our earlier decisions as a culture to espouse an economic system that disburses wealth as entirely as possible to those who can demonstrate their value, even through unnecessary forms of labor. Indeed, automation is taking away the roles people need to justify their standard of living, because we insist on perpetuating things continuing this way.
