Most Americans get health insurance from an employer, but largely as dependents on a family member’s plan. Only 46% of Americans are employed, and only 51% of employed Americans get health insurance coverage from their own job.
So which kinds of jobs actually offer health insurance, and what kind of people get health insurance from their employer? I dug through the Current Population Survey to find out.
