Sometimes the best creativity comes out of these dark places.
Rachel B. Baxter

Huge compliment :) Thank you, Rachel.

It used to be one of the duties of a poet (and this goes back to when poets were respected as artists and important parts of society, unlike the increasingly vapid soulless world today) was to reflect those places, light and dark, that your average person did not speak or, or often even realize.

Philosophers were the ethical compass, comedians the conscience, and poets the soul of society.

Hmm.. that might explain the world today.

That went sideways, but yes, the old adage that there is no light without dark is no more apparent than in the beauty one finds in the perspective of emotional pain.
