I often find myself in a wash of someone else’s emotional state and, as such, I don’t think very rationally at those times, but instead I feel a wordless desire to comfort… so I got nothing useful, really, to add to your incredibly thoughtful writing here except to say you parents had one hell of a son and I wish I could give you a big hug.
