I was appreciating the different aspects of femininity in the writing on Medium and how I was influenced by it. I’ve never been afraid, as a guy, of my own feminine side, and one benefit of that has been an easy and enjoyable connection with women.

That poem is a bit of an ode to my affection for women.

“a blason written on my skin
of flowers, jewels, a dream of dreams”

A Blason is an old poetic genre where they would compare parts of a woman through metaphor, lips/rose petals, etc. I referenced my own skin for the reasons I mentioned above, and then three women who had just recently inspired me with aspects of strong beautiful femininity: “flowers” = Wild Flower; “jewels” = Jules; and “a dream of dreams” = Minna.
