that makes me wonder if the current grief is just a stand-in for a deeper, older grief, and old loss or wounding, that I didn’t let myself experience at the time.
From my experience, sorry to say, way to get over it fastest is to actually experience the emotions…

I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what’s going on. It’s an injury that’s be re-injured about 50 times,and I’m not usually one to dwell :/
