I’ve managed some clarity since I wrote that. Honestly it was a case of us both making assumptions and misunderstanding each other. I wasn’t heartbroken because of anything she did, it was because I really thought things were done, and that devastated me.

No matter what happens, though, I could never speak badly of her. She is the most wonderful woman in the world to me. :) She’s an absolute joy. :)
