Now we’re talking :) I like my coffee so strong it removes hair from one’s chest. :p But yeah, nothing bring out the oh yeah in crap coffee like brewing it strong. If I bought my own coffee I’d be a lot more picky

My method at work is to make the first pot so strong that I can use the same ground to still brew a “normal” pot of coffee.

I keep getting told that Duncan Doughnuts coffee is so great. I brew tea stronger than that shit.

When I worked for Gateway, the office manager, Bill, was an expert in Army coffee. He brewed this big metal “box” that was just water and coffee grounds cooking, no drip, he cooked every last drop of goodness out of those grounds. I got used to that and it’s mostly ruined drinking coffee at a restaurant for me.

I don’t do milk in coffee. I either use the powdered creamer (I have a good reason!) or real cream. I hate diluting it, so the powdered stuff leaves it mostly full strength. Similar thing with real cream and the fact that heavy cream in coffee or chai is just delicious. Chai is my other hot drink passion, but I’m actually picky about that. I dream of taking a train across India and waking up to the chai vendor walking car to car. I like it spicy and with the full array of masala.

I have this stuff called India Spice, it’s a spicy herbal tea. I like brewing a really dark black tea chai along with the India Spice for some extra flavor. The smell is almost intoxicating.

I probably have about 32 ounces of double strength coffee a day. So 4 full cups, or 5.33 traditional coffee cups :)
