The pain isn’t so bad (for me, used to it by now) but it keeps me from sleeping and runs the risk of hydronephrosis, which I’m not aware of ever actually having, aside from temporary swelling when ureter (kidney to bladder tube) is blocked. I usually just out-man the stone.

It does hurt, don’t get me wrong, but about 3 out of 4 times I get them I just put up with it until it passes. The ER is such a hassle.
