Abreu would certainly bring back value, but I think most people assume the Sox will hold on to him. He is controllable at a reasonable price for the next few years and, maybe more importantly, can be a great mentor for the young Cubans Moncada and Robert.
Off the top of my head I’d add Lloris, Courtois, Navas, Bravo ahead of him at this point. So maybe he’s in the 8–10 range. Point is Bonucci is better and more valuable right now.
Right now, absolutely. Gigi’s a legend, but his best days are behind him. He’s no longer a top 5, maybe not even top 10 keeper in the world. Bonucci on the other hand is the 2nd or 3rd best CB in the world right now.
