HAY Ecosystem Lunar New Year Campaign launch guide + FAQ
Hello Helio Guardians!
To thank all of your loyal community members for supporting our project through its ups and downs, we are launching a Lunar New Year Ecosystem campaign! The Lunar New Year has been about family and reunion, but also good luck, fortune and prosperity. In the spirit of this highly joyous season, we will be launching a campaign with a total prize pool of 9,000 HAY!
What do you need before you begin?:
We recommend having a functional Twitter and Discord account, as well as some $HAY and $BUSD to play with.
If you need to buy some $HAY, you have a couple of options. You could either borrow $HAY by depositing BNB on our Dapp, or you could buy $HAY by swapping BUSD off a couple of DEXes such as Wombat Exchange, PancakeSwap stableswap pool, Ellipsis Finance or ThenaFi.
How does it work?
Step 1) Users will arrive to our campaign page on GALXE
Step 2) Collect the 4 OATs by each partner by completing the tasks set. Each OAT enters you to a prize pool of 1,000 HAY each! By completing all the tasks, you just entered to win from a prize pool of 4,000 HAY
Here is an example of what a partner may ask you to complete, using one of our partners, Magpie XYZ as an example:
Once you complete a task, the credential will light up in green. Once green, users can claim the OAT, and enter themselves in the prize pool offered by that project. So many ways to win!
Step 3) Did you collect all 4 OATs from our partners and entered yourself to win from a prize pool of 4,000 HAY? Great news - you are now eligible to complete the 5th set of tasks by Helio Protocol, to win an additional 5,000 $HAY bounty! This totals your rewards to 9,000 $HAY - it is super simple!
Completed all 5 tasks? Congratulations. Now you just entered yourself to win from a prize draw totalling 9,000 $HAY. Sit back, relax, and good luck!
Have questions? Here is some FAQs
Q: Discord is not verifying me or banning me - what is going on?
A: Discord has a strong bot prevention programme and sometimes, it will take some time to verify you. Please be patient, and if not, we advise users to join the Telegram group of the project and ask their moderator team to verify your discord handle or unban you manually.
Q: Why should I do all the tasks? Can users who do not complete all tasks also win? How does this work?
A: Users who do not complete all the tasks cannot receive an OAT, and therefore will not be eligible to win. When you log into GALXE, you connect your wallet to it. When you claim an OAT from completing all the tasks, your wallet address will then be recorded in an excel sheet. So not to worry, only users who truly completed all tasks can claim the OAT and be eligible to win!
Q: I did the tasks, but it's not showing green! What to do?
A: For the on-chain tasks, it is quite normal actually that there might be a slight delay. These credentials are powered by subgraphs and APIs, so it shouldn't take too long. Do refresh the page and come back a few minutes later to check.
If not, do open a support ticket with the relevant project to identify what's going on, and they may help provide an explanation, or follow up with GALXE.
Q: Why can't I do the Helio Protocol task?
A: The Helio Protocol tasks and additional 5,000 HAY bounty is only for users who completed all 4 partner tasks. Please collect all their OATs before refreshing the page and allowing the Helio Protocol task page to unlock.
Q: When will winners be announced?
A: The campaign ends on 6th February. Please allow about 7 days for all projects to announce their winners. Each project will announce and distribute the prize for their OAT. It is a festive season for many, so there might be some unexpected delays. We seek your understanding during this period.
Q: When will I receive my prize?
A: You will receive your prize in no more than 2 weeks once the winners have been announced. As mentioned above, many teams are on break during this festive season, and we seek your kind understanding in the event there are delays. However, you will definitely receive your prize if you are deemed a winner!
Q: How can I learn more about the partners? I need to know before I invest my funds!
A: That is a great question, and we do support users to DYOR and assess risk before participating in on-chain campaigns.

Q: Where can I buy $HAY? How much do I need for this campaign?
We recommend obtaining $HAY directly from our Dapp, by depositing BNB and borrowing $HAY. Please note the minimum borrow amount for $HAY is 100 HAY!
However, you can also purchase some $HAY off the secondary market. There is no minimum amount via this method. For this, we recommend Wombat Exchange, ThenaFi, PancakeSwap and EllipsisFi. You can find our HAY/BUSD pools there!
Q: I've got more questions, what do I do?
If it is about a specific project, please join that project's community support team (Discord or Telegram recommended) to open a ticket and ask for help. However, if you have questions about the campaign, we will be having a Twitter Space AMA with GALXE on 25th Jan, 10am UTC +8, on GALXE's Twitter Page.
