Levi’s Stadium Background

Based in Santa Clara, California, Levi’s Stadium is an American football venue home to the famed San Francisco 49ers.

The stadium boasts approximately 68,500 seats and features 165 luxury suites and 8,500 club seats. According to statista, the average home attendance for regular season 49ers games was 70,305 people in 2019.

Suffice it to say, Levi’s Stadium garners a lot of traction. And that’s not even including their other events like music concerts.

Moreover, in 2015, Levi’s Stadium was officially recognized as Sports Facility of the Year by Sports Business Journal as well as Venue of Year by the Stadium Business Awards in Barcelona, Spain.

With so much acclaim and positive reviews, where does HelloBell come into the picture?

HelloBell’s Implementation

While Levi’s Stadium is frequently heralded for its state-of-the-art technology and features, there were actually certain aspects of the customer experience that had lots of room for improvement.

In fact, Levi’s Stadium’s VIP rooms were not being run nearly as efficiently as they could have been.

One popular complaint from customers at the time was how hard it was for VIP members to call for servers and receive their requests in an adequate & timely manner.

Meanwhile, on the server side, individual servers would find themselves standing outside the VIP rooms waiting to be called upon.

After some consultation from our team, we were able to demonstrate to the executives at Levi’s Stadium how there was a better way of doing things — a way where both guests and staff members can feel more empowered.

HelloBell’s Haptic Pod & Smart Watches

Once we were able to diagnose the problem and outline a feasible solution, Levi’s Stadium was ready to hop on board.

We implemented our signature Haptic Pods into each of the VIP rooms and gave smart watches to each front-of-house staff member.

The touch pod allows for simple communication between guests, service staff, internal teams and management through a flow of real-time data.

As a result, VIP customers were able to garner greater customer satisfaction. Their requests could be adhered to instantly and the serving set-up was now swift and seamless.

On the touch pod, there were options to call for a check, suite attendant, and suite supervisor.

Meanwhile, service staff were now equipped with HelloBell smart watches allowing for guest-to-staff notifications and staff-to-staff messaging.

Staff members are immediately alerted on their smartwatch of the guest location and type of service requested. Also from the smartwatch, servers can immediately notify other staff that they have responded to the request.

Altogether, HelloBell took an already impressive stadium and took it to new heights.
