This week is Mental Health Awareness Week. Make it an effort to reach out to those around you in your life, your friends, peers, family, colleagues, or even strangers in your community.
Life is short, and we are all on this journey just trying to figure ourselves out. No one is happy where they are at, and sometimes we just need a helping and lifting hand.
As someone who has been depressed before, I wasn’t looking for solutions to my problems, answers to my questions, but, really, just someone to listen to me.
Celebrate and cherish those around you in your life.
