It comes partly from a desire to see the very same set of ethics enacted in my country of birth Australia. I admire the US for it’s history of free speech and the establishment of a republic. My political hero is a man called Paul Keating. He was one of our best prime ministers. He has always pushed for Australia to break away from the monarchy and become a republic.
