We believe the jobs market for hourly jobs (hotels, restaurants, events, retail) is fundamentally broken. Employers use the most outdated solutions and the hiring experience for jobseekers is a nightmare.
We are fixing this with a mobile app that makes the experience 10x better. More personalized, faster, more convenient, more transparent and more modern.

What is HeyJobs like?
Every Monday at 9.30am, the whole team gets together and the founders share their thinking on HeyJobs with the team.
Each all-hands includes a deep dive session prepared by one team member on a topic. This talk gives deeper insight into one of the departments (TV marketing, BI) or has a relation to HeyJobs (productivity hacks, intros to programming and the technologies that we use).
We never want to stop learning and HeyJobs offers regular internal tech talks, skill-building conferences (including a specially allocated budget and paid vacations for training), releasing experimental projects with new platforms and languages, as well as weekly retrospectives.
We also have free cereal, fruit and beverages, as well as a weekly team lunch with all employees to spend time together and for those of you who want to practice German we have special “German Lunch Wednesdays”. Our unique Quarterly Feedback Day and the Quarterly Fireside Chat with one of our investors, as well as influential guest speakers, help us to share experiences with each other and maintain a transparent and open communication.
Last but not least: we take our societal responsibility seriously.
But instead of talking or donating, we act. As an example, in September we spent 4 days at our annual HeyJobs #hackweek to develop 4 apps to help refugees — check out the story: here and here

Following our user-centric approach to design the best user experience for our jobseekers and employers, each Wednesday from 4 to 6 pm we have 3–4 users come to the office to test the product.
