Absolutely. While I’m not trolling and I do earnestly believe the approaches I recommend work, it always depends on the situation. I concede that as a design lead who codes, I have more control over how designs evolve than those who are working from static mockups, for instance. I would be creating a design system, while others may be working to a pre-conceived approximation. Broken up, “componentized” CSS may be a reasonable way to handle the second variety, but it’s a facilitation of an unhealthy design process and there should instead be pushback relating to that.
