This post is going to win me a friggin’ Pulitzer. Count on it.

This morning we dropped the kids off at their dad’s house in Southern New Hampshire. We then headed South through Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and finally Washington, DC. Close to 450 miles. It took us nine hours or so.

On the way we stopped at many highway rest areas. No, we were not cruising for anonymous sex, we were getting caffeine and snacks and peeing, and stretching out very sore knees.

We stopped at one in Massachusetts, one in Connecticut, two in New Jersey, and two in Maryland… and I snapped a pic at each one. Prepare to have your mind blown!
