Sometimes, simple techniques change your life more than complicated ones.

I’m a big fan of trying different personal growth techniques to improve my life. Like many people, I’m struggling with a lot of things. One of them is “Procrastination.”

So how to stop procrastinating?

Before knowing the solution, let’s first understand the problem. Why do you procrastinate?

Most daily tasks are “boring” in some way, for example, cleaning the house, studying, emailing your boss, etc.

The problem is that you relate doing tasks with your feelings, so you delay your tasks later on. For example, you must be motivated to do something. While it’s the contrary, motivation comes as a reward after finishing your task.

However, the more you delay tasks, the more you feel stressed and anxious, and your brain doesn’t want you to feel that way, so it starts to give you reasons to overcome all these things.

For example, it tells you it’s not the perfect time to do it because you’re not in a good mood or let’s eat, watch a movie first to feel better, and so on.
