Today we are proud to announce $1.65MM in a series seed funding round led by ff Venture Capital and joined by Digital Currency Group, Crosscut Ventures, Draper Associates, Fenbushi Capital, Lindbergh Tech Fund, and the St. Louis Arch Angels. This brings our total capital raised to $2.5MM including our November financing round led by Draper Associates with participation from Thomson Reuters, UMB Bank, 500 Startups, SixThirty, and others. We have investors from the west coast, east coast, midwest, and bluegrass areas and could not ask for a better network as we progress.
We are also excited to announce the addition of a new team member, blockchain engineer Chris Martin, who has previous experience with blockchain development and architecture. We will also be hiring team members to support business development and expand our sales force moving forward. If you are interested in applying email us at email@example.com.
We have also opened a satellite office in New York City and will be Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIRs) at Startupbootcamp Fintech NY. As mentors, the Fluent team will support early stage fintech startups, providing experience, while leveraging the impressive network of financial institutions within the program including Deutsche Bank, Santander Bank, MasterCard and more.
We look forward to introducing Fluent to the local partners of our accelerator as well as the investors, industry experts and other founders in the New York City ecosystem- helping them establish themselves as leading fintech startup here,” said managing director of Startupbootcamp, Jesse Podell. “In return, our cohort can benefit from Fluent’s blockchain knowledge as well as share their experiences in fundraising and working with leading financial institutions”
We are excited to have a presence in arguably the epicenter of the financial world and aim to become the first supply chain solution for large enterprises to go live in the blockchain space.
Thank you for your continued support over these last few month. Look out for even more exciting things to come.
