I am a medicinal chemist and I came to North Carolina to work at the Research Triangle Institute in 1962. Everyone said I was crazy, but I came. I worked. I am an emeritus scientist now. I am 91 years old. I am the discoverer of two life saving anti-cancer agents which are benefitting, and will continue to benefit long after I’m gone, millions of people all over the world.
I have been recognized all over the world for contribution to cancer research. Even the state of North Carolina has recognized me for a lifetime achievement in science. I am extremely happy that in my lifetime, in the last 50 years, that we are recognized in North Carolina and across the United States.
I have been a Democrat ever since I became a citizen of this country in 1976 because I like the Democratic Party and what they do. Naturally, I support Hillary.
