Hillary is the change-maker our inner cities need — I’ll tell you why.

“I work Monday through Saturday, and every Sunday I drive with some buddies to Flint, MI with cases of bottled water, diapers, and money cards. We spend time with families there, maybe take them to a hotel for a hot shower or a restaurant for a fresh meal. It’s second nature, honestly. I invest in my business so I can then invest in our people.

“Thirty years ago, my father started our business out of a bag. The cosmetic industry was still small back then, so he started selling perfumes and oils out of a little bag. People like to smell good! He set it up and when I was older, I took over. We’ve gone through some hard times, including a big fire 19 years ago, but we’ve pushed through. Small business are all about personal connections, and that’s exactly what we’re about in in this neighborhood.

“People don’t always have the nicest things to say about the east side of Cleveland, but it’s still a residential area and residential areas are always just trying to build up community. By spending time in our community and in our small businesses, we can help influence the way people — especially children — think about their own lives.”

By spending time in our community and in our small businesses, we can help influence the way people — especially children — think about their own lives. Hillary understands these socio-economic relationships on a fundamental level — and if we don’t vote for the right candidate, then we won’t be able to keep our jobs.

“I’m voting for Hillary because she stands up for her values, and she stands by them. I like that she wants to work with our leaders to end police brutality and gun violence. It needs to change and I know as president, Hillary’s going to be that change-maker.“

And I love that she has a comprehensive plan for early childhood education. College is important, but our kids start falling behind as early as kindergarten. It needs to change and I know as president, Hillary’s going to be that change-maker.”
