One Day Before Voter Registration Deadline, Actress Natalie Portman to Campaign for Hillary Clinton in Philadelphia Area

Actress Natalie Portman will campaign for Hillary Clinton in Pennsylvania on Monday, October 10, the day before the state’s voter registration deadline. In Philadelphia and surrounding counties, Portman will urge Pennsylvanian women to register to vote, to get their friends and family to register, and to check their registration status at iwillvote.com.

She will also lay out her support for Clinton, who has been fighting for women and girls her entire career. Clinton has spent her life breaking glass ceilings and expanding opportunity for everyone. In contrast, in addition to calling women “fat pigs,” “dogs,” “slobs,” and “disgusting,” the first presidential debate revealed that Donald Trump has subjected Alicia Machado, a former Miss Universe winner, to public humiliation over her weight and heritage, calling her ugly, fat, “Miss Piggy” and “Miss Housekeeping.” In Pennsylvania, a Philadelphia Inquirer reporter revealed that Trump made misogynistic comments about her, too.
