Hillary for Iowa Announces the Launch of “Iowa Women Win”
For the first time in Iowa’s history, two women — Hillary Rodham Clinton and Patty Judge — will occupy the top of the Democratic ticket this November. And in many districts across the Hawkeye State, Iowans will have the opportunity to vote for women Democratic candidates for several offices at the top of the ticket.
That’s why we’re launching Iowa Women Win, a group of more than 200 Iowa women who are committed to promoting Democratic female candidates up and down the ticket. It’s a campaign to help empower women across the state to talk about the historic nature of this election — and to recognize the amazing women of Iowa’s past, present, and future.
Members of Iowa Women Win have committed to taking action to elect women from the White House to the courthouse by phone banking, door knocking, letter writing, or hosting a grassroots organizing event. Over the course of the next few months, Iowa Women Win events like last week’s inaugural event in Marion will be held all over the state.
