Sleepless in Seattle!!!!
OMG! I’m so nervous and excited. I’m doing laps in my living room trying to figure out if I have everything I need. Kristen and Paulo (Camino veterans) have been assuring me that I will be fine with minimal shit. I’m so used to Alaska packing….not having enough warm stuff means hypothermia….or making Nate take the snowmachine over to the next cabin to see if there’s firewood there. I was trying to sound hardcore for minute there but then I realized you guys all know me so there’s no need to pretend! LOL!

This is the all the clothing I am bringing. If I get cold in the albergue, hopefully I can find a loud snoring German man to warm me up….mom’s idea…..she’s pretty sure I’m going to find my true love on the Camino.
Next picture…..I think this will turn out to be the most important thing I’m bringing other than The Swede. You know I had to get Eurostyle! This is not something I ever use in AK because it makes your bits a little too frosty when you are snow biking. I think it will be just the thing to keep me cool. After all, it is going to be between 70–80 F (that’s 21–26 C for my Canadia friends) so I will probably feel like I’m melting.

Meanwhile…..yesterday….
I took The Swede out for a fully loaded test drive last night. It was a beautiful evening in Seattle. Felt like I was rolling really smooth on those Big Apples!

Wookie is coming with me on this trip. My sister gave him to me when I was travelling excessively for work and feeling blue. He’s kept me company ever since. Yes, I’m a 33 year old who likes to travel with Starwars stuffies. No shame here.
Well Friends, I’m off. Next entry will be from the other side of the pond.
