Thanks Jessica for the helpful tips. I think we as creative writers get so excited to showcase our work we tend to overlook that editors our bombarded with thousands of pitches daily. You really helped me to see why it is important for writers to stick to a simple format when delivering pitches. By sticking to the simple format you suggested it shows that we as writers 1)understand the high demand of writing editors have to shift through daily, and 2) show that we appreciate there time for reviewing our work and 3) that we respect what they do.
