Remember when we were kids, giving the house an extra dose of pretty meant bunches of fresh flowers everywhere! Those florals now find translation in almost every aspect of decor, as below.

Upholstery, linens, curtains etc are surefire ways to include florals into your home decor. Whether in ditsy prints like on this tablecloth, or a soothing pattern of tea roses, as on this love seat, florals provide the perfect soothing accent to many rooms.

They are great for adding pops of colour — from vivid watercolour prints on cushions, to delicate block print or embroidery work on curtains. Nothing quite says a riotous explosion of colours, and joy, like mixing and matching shades, colours, patterns and prints — all on the same piece.

One could also explore different expressions — artistic styles and depictions vary wildly, from ornate filigree work to pop art prints, to delicate handpainted work like on these jars.

In any way you choose, having florals as part of one’s decor adds life and vitality into a living space. And while we’re at it, we’d love bunches of fresh blooms all over our homes as well!
