Hooked Airdrop Announcement
Premise
The premise we hold for airdrop of HOOK token is that it’s designed to provide deserving rewards to community members and ecosystem players, and acting as incentives to individuals who are early users of the Hooked platform and consistently build the ecosystem.
As HOOK is used as the one and only globally transferable token for Hooked Protocol, and serves in the ecosystem where we will be engaged long-term, we have created a sustainable airdrop model.
The optimum fruition of an airdrop event and fair distribution mechanism would only occur when it’s for the benefits of the whole community in the long run.
Airdrop Reward Objective
The airdrop of HOOK tokens is strategized to acknowledge early supporters of the Hooked platform, and to provide sustaining motivation to co-build the community as a whole.
The airdrop will happen extensively to all ecosystem contributors which respectively the ones who had joined the Halloween campaign and minted their Party Pass NFTs to record their initial interactions in the protocol, being active and helpful in Hooked social media platforms to construct a harmonious community environment, and participants who have been making continuous dedication in our application ecosystem (Wild cash as of now, but more in the coming future).
Based on the stated range of considerations and grounds, we are going to implement the 6 batches airdrop in a way of rewarding continuous participations and involvements, not one-off engagements.
Airdrop Allocation Scheme and Eligibility
There will be total 6 batches of HOOK airdrop events for existing Hooked Party Pass NFT holders; the later 5 batches will also be available for our long-term community contributors, including whitelisted members and the constant Hooked ecosystem participants, who will be able to receive Hooked Party Pass Season 2 NFT starting from the end of December 2022, and continuing on a monthly basis thereafter.
Note that only existing Hooked Party Pass NFT holders will be able to participate in all 6 batches of airdrops, and Hooked Party Pass Season 2 NFT holders are eligible for 5 batches of airdrops. The combined maximum number of Hooked Party Pass NFT and Hooked Party Pass Season 2 NFT is 99,999.
The total number of 6 batches of HOOK airdrop would be up to 100 HOOK tokens per member:
- The first batch is to be distributed on December 15th 2022;
- Then 5 batches respectively in the following 5 months, with each scheduled to take place on the first day of every calendar month;
- Just to provide more clarity: the 2nd batch event will occur between Jan 1st to Jan 31st, 2023, then the token airdrop for this batch will happen on Feb 1st, 2023. This is available to all then-current Hooked NFT holders (including the existing Hooked Party Pass NFT holders, and the Hooked Party Pass Season 2 NFT holders who receive the NFTs before Dec 31st 2022).
Airdrop Batch #1
The first batch of airdrop will be up to 25 HOOK tokens, exclusively available to existing Hooked Party Pass NFT holders who have minted the NFT before the Hooked Halloween Party event ends.
To demonstrate the appreciation of initial support, we offered free minting as well as gas fee reimbursement for these participants.
Furthermore, the first batch of airdrop follows a set of criteria which respectively represents continuous contribution and positive-sum behaviors.
Calculations and rules are as follows:
Your total attainable token amount will vary according to the points accumulated based on your corresponding wallet address of the NFT.
- The base tier is 20 points which are default to be granted to our existing NFT holders
- 60 points will be awarded if holders participated in the “Trick or Treat” event before the event ends (Block height: 22680722 Nov-01–2022 12:59:59 PM +UTC). - 10 points will be awarded for being an active BNB Chain Participant by having more than 5 transactions before event starts (Block height: 22567196 Oct-28–2022 12:59:59 PM +UTC)
- 10 points will be awarded by holding any other NFTs (ERC721) before event starts (Block height: 22567196 Oct-28–2022 12:59:59 PM +UTC)
Eligible holders with 100 points accumulated will be receiving a total of 25 HOOK tokens.
HOOK to be allocated per address:
25 HOOK * N (Points accumulated) / 100 (Total achievable Points)
To make an explicit example, if an address gets 80 points (minted the NFT + participated in the “Trick or Treat” event), then the amount of HOOK airdropped for this address in this batch will be: 25 HOOK * 80 / 100 = 20 HOOK.
Airdrop Batch #2–6
The following batches of airdrops will be open to all Hooked Party Pass NFT holders, including the ones who have minted NFT before the Hooked Halloween party event ends; as well as the whitelisted community members & ecosystem application participants who will be able to receive Hooked Party Pass Season 2 NFT starting from the end of December 2022, and continuing on a monthly basis thereafter.
Note: one will only be eligible for the airdrop of the next month after receiving the minted NFT.
For each batch of the airdrop event, there will be up to a total of 15 HOOK airdrops.
HOOK tokens allocation for airdrop will be mainly depending on the HOOK token balance, or the LP token amount in the CAKE-HOOK liquidity pool in PancakeSwap of the address.
The allocation criteria and details are as follows:
1) 5 HOOK will be airdropped to each address by default
2) A random snapshot will be taken on HOOK balance and CAKE-HOOK Pancake LP token balance of the given address each day to check if either of the following requirement can be met:
- HOOK balance >= 20 (https://bscscan.com/token/0xa260e12d2b924cb899ae80bb58123ac3fee1e2f0)
- CAKE-HOOK Pancake LP token balance >= 15 (https://bscscan.com/token/0x9e9b768174eF24233BF8AC2f4131F10ff5E72Dee). If such token is deposited in Pancake official pools, it will be counted as valid balance also.
3) The remaining 10 HOOK tokens of airdrop for the month will be equally divided by the days of the calendar month, and as long as either of the above requirement is met on the day, the HOOK token for the day can be accumulated to the month’s total airdrop amount.
- For example, if for January, the given address’s token balance met the above requirement for 10 days out of 31 days, in this case, the total amount of airdrop HOOK tokens of January for the address will be: 8.23 HOOK = 5 HOOK + 3.23 HOOK (10 HOOK * 10 / 31).
- The snapshot will be taken randomly everyday
4) The airdrop token will be distributed and sent to the eligible address on the first day of every calendar month for previous month’s activities.
The rules and calculations are set for fairness to those who gave it their best and made significant efforts to the community, also for avoiding bad behaviors to the whole ecosystem, and for involving long term ecosystem participants.
Hooked will continuously reward engaging contributions of the Hooked ecosystem in the long run, which takes an extensive contributor alignment, a fair incentive system for community, and most significantly of all, the consensus that all community members hold for the values and benefits of every member in the ecosystem.
