I agree wholeheartedly. One of the reasons I’ve tried to keep this specifically focused on the malfeasance was because of the ongoing freakshow that was the entire “Gamergate” discussion. Everyone knows that there was plenty of bad people making things worse for both sides in it, and basically trying to make sure that discussions couldn’t happen. What Brianna Wu took from trolls was abhorrent, and should never have been tolerated.

But then you have the likes of Giant Spacekat being so openly in favor of using that platform as an excuse for their own problems, and it gets way harder to defend that company.
