Negativity: Satan’s Cancer for Christians.

Most Christians never progress into becoming a Disciple. All Disciples are Christians but very few Christians are Disciples. The main factor Satan uses to accomplish this is his incredible ability to use negative thoughts and words to ruin lives, abort destiny’s and shipwreck ministries. Most ministers preach and teach on negative “words” and these teachings are very popular in the Word of Faith movement. In Mt. 12:36-37 Jesus makes a dramatic statement; “I say to you, that every idle word (GK: argos rhema/useless single words) that men shall speak, they shall give account (logos/grouped words or thoughts) thereof in the Day of Judgment. By your words (logos) you shall be justified (dikaioo/declared innocent) and by your words you shall be condemned (katadikazo/pronounced guilty).
We know from vast studies of the brain and mind that words are actually expressions of purposeful thoughts from a person’s mind without a mental illness or brain malady (Pro.23:7). The article “How Satan Controls the Mind without Reading it” above, illustrates how important thoughts are to the Devil. Seducing spirits always attack the brain and attempt to control the mind to destroy the person (1 Tim. 4:1). The Holy Spirit is the only person who can perfectly evaluate the thoughts of a human (Ps. 139:23, Heb. 4:12).
We know that spiritually, negative thoughts can (1) Keep God’s provision of basic necessitites from reaching His children (Mt. 6:25-34). (2) Keep a Christian spiritually defiled (Mt. 15:19-20) (3) Pollute a Christian’s Godly love (1 Cor. 13:5) (4) Keep the Christian from committing their works to God (Pro. 16:3) (5) Cause the Christian to make poor choices (Pro. 21:5). In the healing and deliverance ministry thoughts carry enormous importance and are the key to the Christian retaining their physical, mental, spiritual and emotional healing.
The process the Devil uses to steal (Lk. 8:12, Jn. 10:10) the benefits received by Christians (healing, deliverance, salvation, etc.) is by using negative or destructive thoughts. His seducing spirits put a thought into the mind of the believer. It happens routinely. It happened to King David (II Sam. 11:2, 1 Cr 21:1), Peter (Mt. 16:22), Judas (Jn. 13:29-30), Samson (Jd. 14:3, 16:4) and millions of Christians alive today. At the time the spirits put the thought in the mind he still has no control over the person. It is only when the negative thought is received and accepted as personal by the individual, does Satan get their mind to drift away from the thoughts of the Holy Spirit. When the person accepts the thought as their own and verbally releases it, they give the demons legal right to bring the negativity validated by the thought into existence and destroy the person and steal their blessings (Pro. 29:20, Eccl. 10:12-14, II Cor 10:4-5). Pro 6:2 says, “You are snared and taken with the words of your mouth.” Behind the words are the negative thoughts the spirits placed into the person’s mind.
In II Cor. 4:4 we find a major revelation; “The God of this world (aion/age) has blinded the minds (noema/thoughts) of them which believe not (apistos/unbelievers), lest the glorious gospel of Christ who is the image of God, should shine to them.” The Lord revealed to me that there are two kinds of believers; sinners and Christians. Sinners don’t believe by nature. Christians don’t believe by false teaching and doctrine. Many Christians have their thoughts blinded to the truth of the full gospel and do not believe in healing, deliverance, gifts of the Spirit, miracles, signs, etc. The method Satan uses to crush the gospel in America is thru the thoughts of Christians. Spirits float lies, negativity, half-truths, deceptions, false doctrines into the minds of Christians and they use these teaching to ineffectualize the Gospel.
In II Cor. 10:4-5 we receive another magnificent revelation; “The weapons of our warfare are not carnal (sarx/fleshly) but mighty thru God to the pulling down (kathairesis/demolish) of strongholds (ochuroma/fortress), casting down (kathairesis/demolish) imaginations (logismos/deep thoughts) and every high thing (hupsoma/elevated) that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. Bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. Having in readiness to revenge (ekdikaio/vindicate) all disobedience when (hotan/as soon as) your disobedience if fulfilled (pleroo/totally complete).
If you will complete your repentance and demolish the fortress of lies in your mind built by seducing and lying spirits over the years, you will be completely free from the authority and power of Satan and demons. You will fulfill your destiny and the incredible call of God upon your life. Remember, EACH thought must be taken captive and demolished. NOT ONE DEMONIC NEGATIVE LYING THOUGHT CAN BE RECEIVED AND BELIEVED!
