My Imaginary Friend

--

My imaginary friend —
I envy your freedom.
I loathe your ruthless boldness,
Looks on your face,
And your shifty-eyed twitches.

My imaginary friend —
Why do you remind me in the end?
Of every broken conversation,
That you are pixels of my brain.

My imaginary friend —
You make me murmur,
Shattering every sense,
Like the madman on a park bench.

My imaginary friend —
Thank you for your presence.
Thank you for your silence.

Thank you for Reading!

Some of my other poems:
Aurora Borealis,
Fascination with Imperfection,
Delight on the dot.
