IJ; where would a social dialogic perspective enter in to this discourse? In example, a child is completely dependent on interactions that provide support. As the child grows these interactions become more complex and intertwined like a delicate co-improvisational “duet”; and even more, as we learn and grow new synapses our physical brains comforms to the needs of this “duet”. So much “reality” can not be seen within either the body or the psyche, but only in the context of the performance of this “duet” and much of our consciousness seems like an echo of these dialogic performances. Overall it is the idea that as a species, an individual perspective misses important parts of our nature.
