Last month I wrote about HubSpot’s expanding relationship with Facebook and promised that it would result in more (and better) features for HubSpot customers. Today I’m here to tell you — it’s happening! We just rolled out a new integration with Workplace that I’m really excited about.

Earlier this year, Facebook recognized HubSpot as a leading solution for SMBs and an official badged Marketing Partner.

Facebook is where consumers live. It’s how they interact with friends and family online, how they share their stories, and how they consume information. Heck, it’s where I first saw an ad that led me to buying my new favorite pair of work shoes.

Facebook is where people are, so naturally, it’s where marketers are too.

Facebook’s social technology revolutionized how people connect, and we’re excited about what that same technology can bring to the business world.

Here at HubSpot, we’ve been working hard to respond to this shift in consumer behavior. Our multi-product partnership with Facebook includes: Facebook and Instagram publishing integrations, lead ads and Lookalike audiences ads integrations, and a Facebook Messenger integration. It’s a set of tools to enable a full-funnel approach to Facebook marketing.

And now we’re adding Workplace to the product lineup

Workplace by Facebook is a space for teams to share ideas, brainstorm and achieve more together. More than just a collaboration tool, Workplace connects organizations of every size to familiar features like chat and groups, as well as integrates with the business tools people use every day to get work done.

Global adoption for Workplace by Facebook has been on the rise, with users communicating on the platform in over 70 different languages. Over one million Workplace groups have been created by businesses of all sizes.

We want our customers to be able to work where they want to work. Whether that be on a desktop or mobile, from within Gmail or Outlook, in the physical workplace or the digital Workplace.

With the new integration we’re able to unite more of the tools our customers use, save them time, and help them increase productivity. These benefits are particularly important to one beloved team in the company — sales. In sales every minute of the day is valuable, and this integration is going to make sure that reps never miss a valuable opportunity.

Sales reps are busy — and it’s hard to balance the day-to-day collaboration with their sales team and still keep an eye on what’s happening with their leads. With this integration, a sales rep receives notifications within Workplace triggered by team member or lead activities within HubSpot. These notifications empower customers to stay on top of their connections and never miss the perfect moment to reach out to a lead.

Even better? Each notification contains a link that brings reps directly into HubSpot so they can immediately take action and close the deal without missing a beat.

We have more in the works with Facebook, stay tuned.
