I think this was at least partially motivated by a desire to cut costs. It’s becoming very common for sites and apps to lose features for this reason. You already axed the silly tests and the forums, presumably because you don’t want to have to pay for their upkeep. Those were both good features, and they’re gone now. I think you’re probably getting rid of Visitors for the same reason.

To be fair, Visitors don’t tell me much. Likes do. However, I’ll miss being able to see who I visited. Sometimes I forget to like someone, or decide to like them after I’m already looking at someone else’s profile. Now, I won’t be able to do that on the app at all. The chief utility (to you) in removing visitors is probably saving money, not making the experience better. Otherwise, it seems likely to me that you would have figured it out much sooner.

Be careful about removing any more features. You reeeeeally don’t want to lose anything else that distinguishes you from Tinder.
