NO SOLICITING. .. Thanks
Yesterday I spent an afternoon google searching for a successful Business/Commercial Transaction Litigator in my area.
Today I sent out a long email to a very successful man asking him for work experience.
Basically, I told him that I know you’re not hiring, but give me a desk anyways.
I read, proofread, and read the email again to make sure that it was well-written.
I just need a chance.
I’ve spent so many years not knowing what in the blue hell I wanted to do with my life, but this feels right.
I want to know the law. I want to know it as well as any lawyer. I want to dominate this field.
But in small town cluster fuck East Texas… the market isn’t there. Not for an entry-level position.
The beautiful thing about life is that it only takes one person to believe in you. To believe that what you have to offer the world is valuable. The beautiful part is that that person is you.
So as long as I believe that I am valuable and worth the opportunity, then eventually someone else will as well.
