MetaMask Installation and Adding HUR Tokens on Test Network for Platform Evaluation

The Hurify Beta platform offers HUR transfer features through Metamask. MetaMask is a bridge that allows you to visit the distributed web of tomorrow in your browser today. It allows you to run Ethereum dApps right in your browser without running a full Ethereum node. MetaMask includes a secure identity vault, providing a user interface to manage your identities on different sites and sign blockchain transactions.

Metamask installation is one of the prerequisite for Hurify platform evaluation to evaluate all the features offered in Beta version

How to install Metamask extension in Google Chrome and add some ethers in an account?

Search for Metamask in your Chrome browser or go to https://metamask.io/ directly and click on GET CHROME PLUGIN

2. Click on the + ADD TO CHROME button to the add the plugin to chrome.

3. A new tab will open and the Metamask plugin is displayed at the right top of the chrome browser. Accept the Privacy Notice and scroll down and click Accept to agree Terms of Use.

4. Fill in a strong password to use Metamask and click Create. Don’t Lose your password.

5. Copy your secret 12-word recovery key somewhere safe and press I’VE COPIED IT SOMEWHERE SAFE to continue.

6. Since, we have deployed our MVP in Rinkeby Test Network you have to change the network as Rinkeby from others.

7. Now we have successfully created account in Rinkeby Network. We need to add some Ether to it. Click the 3 dots next to the account name and click Copy Address to Clipboard.

8. We can obtain free Ethers using three methods. Here we present on how to get free Ethers using Google+.

a. Open https://plus.google.com/u/0/ in your browser.

b. And post a public post with your Rinkeby account address which we copied in previous step.

c. And copy the link of the post.

d. Open https://faucet.rinkeby.io/ in new tab.

e. Paste the link of the post in the space provided and choose the 3 Ether/8 hours option.

9. Check the balance in Metamask once your transaction is confirmed by the miners.

How to get test Hurify Token (HUR) in Rinkeby Network?

In Rinkeby Network you can obtain HUR tokens by sending ETH to the Hurify Token contract address. For 1 ETH you will receive 2000 HUR tokens and it will be transferred automatically to your account.

1. Sending ETH to Hurify Token contract

a. Select send tab in Metamask.

b. Enter the Recipient Address and Hurify Token contract address.

c. Enter Amount based on your needs.

d. Click on Next button.

e. In transaction tab select Submit button to send the transaction.
