Did not know the service previously. I would say those are changes in a good direction overall. I, with my team fellows did similar thing to one, big, bloated form of client’s ATS product. The difference was that multiple companies (client’s clients) had different needs and workflows so we allow them to customize what is in a group, should it be visible, the order and many other options.
Not so sure about removing instant researching on filter changes as now a user need to click and move the mouse more.
Also not a big fan of full page reload, if it is not really needed or the context is changing totally (like a login page and gated content). If You would change that and search results would be fast enough live results look like a better solution to me.
