2. TOKENOMICS
The HIP token ($HIP) is a blockchain based token that can be exchanged for HYPE points, a internal reward points within HIPPOP app. The HIP token serves as a key to governance and support various on-chain activities.
Governance
The HIP token acts as a governance token for HYPE LAB. To partake in governance proposals, owning at least one HYPE BOY V1 NFT is necessary. When voting, users can use HIP tokens to vote. These votes will be mainly serve for boosting the value of teh HIPPOP ecosystem and possible to vote for artist and creator activities in the HIPPOP app in near future.
Swap
Users can convert HYPE points earned in the HIPPOP app into HIP tokens. This swap is performed on the HYPE BOY official website, subject to administrator approval. The swap rate is determined by the internal platformās growth status and will be communicated to users before swap.
On-Chain Raffles
Through the HIP token, users can participate in raffles for creator-collaborated goods and digital NFTs, which can be arts or pfp, etc. Since Raffles are conducted on-chain, the raffles are transparent and accessible to all. This feature aims to onboard Web2 usersā transition to Web3 experiences.
