Many Americans today vote left or right simply based on party loyalties or philosophical beliefs without actually looking into the candidates they choose to support. Before you vote red or blue on election day, here are 7 things everyone should be aware of before voting for Hillary in 2016.

She was once a hard core Republican

Yes, there was a time when even Hillary Clinton was a conservative. Growing up in Park Ridge Illinois, Hillary was highly influenced by her conservative family and eventually became a supporter for Barry Goldwater in 1964. She was elected president of the Young Republicans Club at Wellesley College during her undergraduate and even wrote her term paper on the American conservative movement.

She hasn’t driven a car in almost 20 years

Yes, just another perk that comes from being in the political spotlight. Since her husbands presidency, Hillary has had no need to drive since the secret service took over.

She blamed her husband’s sex scandal with Monica Lewinsky as a “right-wing conspiracy”

It’s no question that the Clinton’s thrive off of scandal. From Whitewater to Lewinsky and more recently servergate, the Clinton’s time and time again find a way to disguise their outrageous problems that never seem to go away. She even went as far as to blame her husband’s sex addiction as a right-wing conspiracy. (Yes, because Republicans don’t have enough of their own sex scandals to worry about)

She won a Grammy

Hillary was awarded top honors in the Best Spoken Word or Non-musical Album category by The Recording Academy during the 56th annual Grammy awards.

She likes to get her drink on

Not only did she miss her first round of Benghazi questions for a wine tour in Australia, Hillary according to witnesses, outdrank Senator John McCain while in Estonia in 2004 and is described by Virginia governor Terry McAuliffe as a “girl from Illinois who likes to throw ‘em down with the rest of us.” Whether you define that behavior presidential is up to you.

She rejected Bill’s proposal several times

Yes, Bill had to do some convincing before Hillary eventually accepted Bill’s proposal on the third try.

First lady wasn’t her only first

She is the only First Lady to be subpoenaed for her role in the Whitewater scandal. She was fingerprinted by the FBI during Travelgate and Filegate and is the only First Lady to have had intimate connection with the criminal investigation process.

So make sure you don’t just vote left or right. Look into the canidates and consider these things before you tweet #Hillary2016.
