Political Doppelgängers

Everyone has a doppelganger… including politicians. Let’s take a look at which celebrities are most like US politicians.
Rand Paul

Rand Paul is one of the most favorable and well-liked politicians. These are all characteristics of the ever so famous, Tom Cruise. Both Rand and Tom are shorter men but you would never know it unless you saw them in person. Rand can get a crowd going as many people experienced at CPAC this past year; Tom can do the same thing, but simply just by standing there.
Rick Perry

Rick Perry is the good-looking guy in the political world. He is essentially the George Clooney of politics. Ladies batt their eyes for the former Texas governor just as they do for George Clooney. Both men always have perfect hair, and a smile that could make you believe anything they say. Those eyes stare into your soul. These men will go far in life just because of their looks. Let’s be honest, who could say no to a face like theirs?
Hillary Clinton

Hillary Clinton has had tons of scandals over the years, and recently they’ve poured out all at once. The same thing happened to our beloved 90’s American Sweetheart, Lindsay Lohan. Unlike Lohan, Clinton has yet to serve hard time (key word: YET). With her email scandals, Clinton Cash issues, and more, Clinton is slowly slipping down the slide that Lindsay Lohan knows all too well.
Ted Cruz

Nelly is the under appreciated artist in the rap world. And just as Nelly is under appreciated, Ted Cruz is the under appreciated politician. Cruz gets tons of criticism from people saying that he won’t make it as the next Republican Party Presidential candidate. Does this stop him? Nay, he keeps trying. Nelly also experiences this criticism, as people tell him that he is a hasbeen of rap. But does this stop him from making music? No, he keeps churning out music despite what people say. And to top it all off, they are both from Texas.
Mitt Romney

Well hello to our pretty boy of politics, Mr. Mitt Romney. Also hello to the pretty boy of Hollywood, Mr. Ryan Gosling. Must we elaborate any more? Other than looks these two being the pretty boys of their fields, they both have lived the Mormon faith.
Joe Biden

Joe Biden is the Pitbull of poltics. This can be explained quite simply. Both Pitbull and Biden are older men in their fields (one a smidgen older than the other). They are also the creeps of their fields. Pitbull is the creepy old man that just won’t stop even though society has pleaded for him to give it a rest. Similarly, Joe Biden is known for being a bit too touchy with women and well, saying stupid old guy stuff.
Barack Obama

Let’s be honest, not a lot of people like Kanye West. In the past Kanye was well liked by society, but recently he has gone down the hill. This reminds me of certain President, Barack Obama. President Obama’s poll numbers are falling and he is no longer well liked by society. Some fans that will stick with him to the end, just like Kanye. But overall, NOPE!
George W. Bush

George W. Bush is the politician that we love to hate. Just as Justin Bieber is the celebrity we love to hate. There was a time that many people loved Bush as there was a time when Bieber was loved by all of America. Even though these two were just being who they are and doing their job, they became the easy targets of society. We love them, but we love to hate them even more.
Sarah Palin

Tina Fey not only looks just like Sarah Palin, but she also does the best impression of her as she has shown on Saturday Night Live. Both of these women are strong and funny! If the picture doesn’t say it all, I don’t know what else to say to convince you that these two women are practically one in the same!
Arnold Schwarzenegger

And finally, Arnold Schwarzenegger is himself, politician and celebrity. Talk about doppleganger inception.
