I highly doubt Ball. Granted, I am not a huge college hoops follower, but I went to the Oregon/UCLA game at UCLA and it felt like Lonzo was actively hurting his team for about 3/4ths of that game. He refused to go more than three feet into the arc and he wasn’t consistently hitting his shot. Not only that, he made sloppy pass after sloppy pass and couldn’t seem to figure out how to beat a full-court press.

I am likely (read: definitely) extrapolating too much from one game, but I think people are just falling in love with Lonzo’s range and not looking at his glaring flaws.
