Yes, but that isn’t really the case here. While I have no idea about how the Switch’s architecture compares to either the Xbox One or PS4, there is nothing about this console that would indicate to me that it is that much different than a PC and should therefore be relatively painless in porting games.

I think the bigger problem is that Nintendo always prioritizes its own games over any third party game (likely why you forgot about Super Monkey Ball) and therefore the third party sales are soft when compared to Nintendo’s competition. In that environment, why would you bother porting older games for this console’s launch?
