I have to go, in person, to the Credit Union with my kiddo and get added to her account. Somehow, her dad is the only legal adult on the account and if you actually want to get anything done — like deposit accumulated summer babysitting money — then you need to ask mom. So, mom needs to be on the account.

(I once overhead my kiddos talking, when they were much younger. The older one was explaining to the younger one, “If you want ice cream, ask Dad. If you need something signed for school, ask Mom.” Even Dad agrees this is true.)
