Things I Want: Home Edition

If you are reasonably crafty, a diy headboard is an easy project. It sounds like your husband is pretty handy. I built mine because I couldn’t find a bed I liked to buy. It is upholstered with a washable slipcover, and it was reasonable to fabricate in both cost and time. I think I did it over a weekend with my husband.

Now, many years later, I have several slipcovers that I’ve made, so I just change it when I get bored. All are made of upholstery fabric (or cotton duck) bought on clearance.

PM me if you want details. It really is pretty straightforward if you want the kind of headboard I have.
