With the release of the ICPuppies collection being less than a week away, we’re going to explain what the launch event will consist of, how you can participate, and all the other details. Without further ado, let’s get into it!
1. The launch is going to take place on October 8th, 15:00 UTC on Entrepot. (https://entrepot.app) There is also a countdown on our website(https://icpuppies.io). We will announce the exact hour multiple times in advance so you guys are prepared.
2. The launch event will be a ‘mystery box’ event that will last 48 hours. What does that mean? Every time you mint, you receive one of the unique, randomly generated puppies from the 10.000 NFT pool. Your NFT is unique, there are no duplicates. You can mint as many times as you like so if you feel like it’s your lucky day, go for it!
3. A lot of people have asked about the pricing. The mint price will range from 0.4 ICP to 1 ICP. The earliest you are, the lower your mint price. However, being early does not guarantee you get a rarer NFT. All people have equal chances!
4. To keep the mystery going, the ICPuppies will be locked during the launch event. That means that while the mystery box event is still active, you cannot list your puppies for sale. After the 48 hours end or after all the puppies have been sold out, you can trade and collect ICPuppies as you like!
5. 50% of the sales from the mystery box event will go to a public wallet that will be visible to everyone. So when you’re buying an ICPuppy, not only do you get the NFT but you also make an impactful donation that can help those in need.
We plan to use those funds to help multiple charities involving children and animals and we want to involve you, the community, in these choices. Everything we do will be fully transparent(as it was since day one) and we will collaborate with public charities.
On top of that, 0.5% of all ICPuppies sales forever will go to the Infinite Charity Project, a project with similar goals and that wants to help animals and people in need.
Down the road, given the growth of the IC ecosystem, we are looking to collaborate with more IC-based charity funds.
6. You will be able to check your puppy’s rarity score on NFTVillage after launch. We will also collaborate with Plug Wallet to have it integrated with our collection.
7. We revamped our NFTs format to accommodate wearables/items. This is a huge plus as we’re going forward, we can do so much more with them given that they’re not just a static image. During launch/after launch, we will present an updated roadmap and reveal the plans for our upcoming game. We want to build it with the help of our community so soon enough we will open up ways to get you involved with our game.
8. There will be rewards for ICPuppies holders down the road, rewards that will relate to the upcoming game.
9. Whitelisted tiers (Alpha, Beta, and Omega) will be contacted soon so we can collect their addresses for the upcoming airdrop. We will use Stoic Wallet addresses.
10. We’ve seen people trying to impersonate us and our accounts on various social media websites. The only official launch event will happen on Entrepot.app, on October 8th. There are no sales happening earlier.
