On the road to Pentecost — Day 39

On the road to Pentecost — Day 39

“But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting On those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children, To such as keep His covenant, And to those who remember His commandments to do them.” Psalm 103:17-18

“And when forty years had passed, an Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire in a bush, in the wilderness of Mount Sinai. When Moses saw it, he marveled at the sight; and as he drew near to observe, the voice of the Lord came to him,” Acts 7:30,31

Beloved,

Recount the journey of Abraham and his family as Stephen did — that those that had ears to hear, would hear. List as Stephen did, the Patriarchs and their paths they followed — to ultimately bring us to that place, like Moses — to the a “flame of fire in a bush.”

We have an encounter with the Burning Bush today — it starts with our first waking breath and does not settle until our eyes close at the end of a day in rest — and even then, the bush does not retire, but burns even more brightly in the dark.

And darkness cannot come near you — and it is pushed far from you.

Holiness is a choice — but is demanded of our lives.

This place where it is right to remove our shoes — that the world cannot enter in such a place, without the intervention of the Christ in our lives. Even to the point of hanging on a cross and saying to those scoffing at you, “Forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.”

Enter in today — as you wake. Begin with praise and worship, follow the Sound of Heaven, its heart beat that erupts from a Throne in the Holy Place. And the River that has been flowing, will interrupt its course to engage you in its current, allowing you to transport Life to those that are dying.

This Holy Place, allows your lips to be a conduit of LIfe through the Words and even the Groaning from deep inside. The overflow of the heart begins as the River fills its vessel, and does not stop when it reaches the full mark, the top.

Words come forth, that even if recorded can not be deciphered by man, but in the Holy Place — comes understanding and wisdom. Discernment is accessible, and interpretation flows freely.

Like a cap placed on a well — that is then removed, so that you can reach down for a drink that is refreshing — and sets the course for your day.

But Holiness is a choice — but is demanded . . .

We cannot just be spectators — watching the “Finger of God” — but accessing the “Finger of God” and letting Him write Words on other’s lives — and bring them out of darkness.

God is not static and neither are you — move in the Holiness gained at the first breath of wakefulness — and trust the Steps before you.

Over there is a “flame of fire in a bush.”

Take your shoes off and enter in . . .
