Be . . .
“But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:15–16
Seek that which is Holy, that which belongs to the King — the attributes that makes Him the only God. It is in the Holiness, this heart which has no evil, but only good. The sanctity of His Presence — surrounded by His Glory providing the atmosphere in which to worship.
Have you ever come upon a depressed or sad child of God. Then ask him or her:
When did you stop dancing before the Lord?
When did you stop singing of His Love and His Sacrifice?
When did you stop enjoying reading His Word — and contemplating the great events of the Old and New Testament?
When did you stop finding comfort in His Sweet Presence?
For faith without acts is a dead thing.
It is important that the hope we treasure, when everyone else is hopeless is secure; It is in the knowledge, that what He says carries the weight of Heaven; It is the knowledge and wisdom that the Rock which is the cornerstone of our lives and is believed.
Today is not like yesterday, but He is.
Tomorrow will be another day, and He will still be God.
Holiness wraps itself around you as you draw near in worship — as you draw near in song — as you draw near in the dance — as you draw near in hungering for more of His Word, which leads to a hunger and thirst for more of His Righteousness — as you protect that effort of encouraging His Presence in your life.
Holiness, is that which raptures the heart and soul in the Kingdom of God — that is accessible to you now. Dance, Sing, Renew your mind with His Word every morning, and constantly seek His Presence every moment of your life.
