The 17th sustainable development goal is about revitalising the global partneriship for sustainable development, set by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015. United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.
This year Pure London — the UK’s leading fashion trade show — collaborates with the Conscious Fashion Campaign (CFC), supported by the United Nations Office for Partnerships. There will be a dedicated installation that profiles the key fashion brands working hard to end poverty, protect the planet, practice sustainability and raise awareness through meaningful philanthropic and customer engagement initiatives. As well as, Pure London is partnering with Common Objective to offer guided buying tours of exhibiting brands. Together, they are placing the spotlight on sustainable brands and giving them a dedicated space (Pure Conscious) for them to be seen and heard. Pure Conscious sector will also be supported throughout the shows content programmes, with seminars discussing the circular economy, sustainable fashion and why we need to care. Fashion technology will also be represented as key to empowering the whole fashion supply chain to be more sustainable.
All of that feels very promising and I am more than delighted to announce my brand’s collaboration with Pure London. KiRiVOO is exhibiting at the Pure Conscious sector, booth Y14.
