All hail the $INU

Preface

Throughout crypto history there have been many enigmatic figures. Of course first on that list being Satoshi Nakamoto, the figure who created decentralized finance, p2p transactions, and was the de facto spark that lit the fire of cryptocurrency. In an ecosystem where anonymity is a key feature, many anonymous figures have arisen since Satoshi, but none quite as compelling or groundbreaking as the creator of Shiba Inu, Ryoshi.

With his introduction of Shiba Inu we saw a generational shift not only in how ERC20 tokens were created and traded on ETH, but a shift in the functionality of the individual investor. The experiment he started was ambitious, seeing how far a community could take a coin with everything being left up to the collective group without developer involvement, but nonetheless was a massive success. SHIB broke barriers, set the standard for all future “Memecoin” trading, and still to this day remains the largest driving force behind the creation of new tokens. The “_____ inu” copycat coins make up such a large percentage of the ecosystem that it almost seems stifling sometimes. Creativity is lacking, originality is dead, and with the decline in creative progress has come a decline of the entire meme coin world.

Where are we now?

Ryoshi has effectively left the space after going silent for an entire year and deleting his Twitter and Medium articles less than a month ago. This is of course massively concerning for the future growth of this space. If the person who revolutionized the crypto narrative to what it is today has become so disillusioned that he is exiting it, where does that leave us? I’m sure you’ve seen no shortage of “inu” copycat coins launched in the past week, two weeks, month, stretching back all the way to Shiba Inu’s inception there have been copycats… and it needs to end!

Enter $INU — the Inu to end all Inu’s.

The community designed $INU logo.

$INU was launched from the deployer of the Luna Inu contract. $LINU is a coin that has been out for over a month that has trended on Dextols almost every day since then, reached an ATH of over 12M MC, and did this through only their amazing community support (reminiscent of $SHIB). Alas, $LINU was just a start, a great idea and example of Ryoshi’s vision, but still a simplistic and smaller scaled version. Why? The Luna Inu name is a catchy and intelligent use of the “____ Inu” meme, I invested early and made some money myself, but it is, at its core, a contribution to an old chapter of the Memecoin Meta book, something $INU has been created to finally close once and or all. $INU represents not only the entire legacy of Ryoshi’s vision, but a beacon towards the future. A full reset of the meta. A final $INU — one to rule them all.

Written in the contract is this message from the developer:

The message is clear, $INU is here to put an end to all trend-chasing Inu tokens!

“$INU — Inu.
In crypto, the success of a strong community has led countless individuals
to a life of financial freedom; many of whom would have stayed poor forever,
even if they worked every day saving each penny until the day they died.
The rise of Shiba Inu caused a cultural and monetary shift in the world on levels never seen before. Thousands of “Something-Inu” tokens have launched since then attempting to capitalize on both whatever the current “trend” is as well as those hoping to buy in early on the “NEXT SHIBA INU”, thus destroying trust in the INU name and the promises that came along with it.
Today, even Shiba Inu itself has strayed far away from the original vision its creator intended.
Filling up the market with these “Trend-Inu” tokens has left many hopeful investors burned and rugged, and has fractured the Memecoin community as a whole. Nowadays, building the
“Next Shiba Inu” feels like an impossible task, as there is seemingly no place for the laymen to come together and build outside of trend-chasing dog coins with dev teams who always let their communities down.
Until now.
INU is a safe haven for all.
A token with no team, no dev, no tax, no temporary meme trend name, no expectations past what YOU (the community) bring to the table.
INU represents the lost memories of a time when community was truly all that was needed for generations of riches to be created.
Liquidity has been burned upon creation, 50% of supply has been burned, there is no official site, telegram, twitter, logo, or anything past the INU contract itself.
It is up to YOU, the individual, to bring glory and wealth back to the INU name.
All hail the Inu.”

What is next?

Building up a strong community piece by piece, brick by brick, member by member. $INU has been growing in holders each day since its inception on 6/28/22, with over 460 as of the time of this article being written. There have been very entertaining ups and downs, many snipers and bots had the $LINU deployer flagged and sniped upon launch, but having tracked the movement of the supply across holders pretty closely we are 100% confident the earliest snipers have sold all of their bags and non-committed holders have been shaken out. Of course there are swing traders and MEV bots as it is a 0 tax token (KEEP SLIPPAGE LOW), but a strong team of community leaders has come together to organize a blossoming community, full of excellent memes and enthusiastic holders.

Ryoshi’s vision can still be realized, $SHIB’s success has been triumphant, but most of the biggest coins since have been either directly tied to $SHIB or even worse, have lied about being connected to $SHIB to capitalize on the resounding support of believers in Ryoshi’s vision. $INU is here not only to put an end to the copycats and liars, offer a chance to grow a community and army of supporters that rivals or even tops $SHIB, and put an end to the obsession with $SHIB/INU related coins, but also to offer a way forward. A full reset to finally close the “_____ INU” chapter of the past two years. A chance to bring together a new community surrounding the most basic and simple principle — All Hail the Inu.

Here’s to the future, the past, and everything in between. Here’s to $INU.
